not what I was expecting

Based on the reviews I thought, at a minimum, I would be getting something close to what I was used to. Boy was I ever shocked. The flavor of the uni- yes, that was fine- but I needed a magnifing glass to find the uni!! I'd never before seen Uni that tiny. I would never order this again. The entire order was maybe equivelent to a normal sized strip of uni. Not worth the money or the time.

I have to say people, i'm from Hawaii and we have the best! Sushi rest/bars. I love uni, sweet sushi shrimp and sushi style scallops and this is equal to us! i am so satisfied with my order, the speedy delivery and the quality. I was very surprised! I didnt think it would come close to Hawaii's Sushi quality seafood! cant wait to try other items.

Not UNI I expected...

I order this Sea Urchin just to compare to California Gold Uni and see if there is any difference...
Yes, there was a huge difference. I could not eat this Uni because it just tasted like a very strong chemical... I know that certain chemicals have be added to keep Uni fresh but I guess it was too much.
I've had much better uni at local sushi restaurants. Very disappointed.

Really tasty but really mushy

I ordered three packs of uni along with some other items but when they arrived they had liquefied and looked more like Vana. It was a long trip to Florida I suppose. Despite the mush, this was definitely the best tasting Uni I have ever had.

i have eaten a lot of uni in my time and this place has the BEST uni. I was in the san diego area twice and asked if they would give me a tour of the uni factory and they did! it was an AMAZING experience. Such a clean place. People are amazing and nice! we tried their large scallops and they were the BEST scallops i ever ate! the UNI was to die for!!!!
