This Salmon is delicious! I think Catalina Offshore Products does a great job of trimming and packing the fish. The one pound portions are good for dinner with little or no waste. If you love Salmon, you can't go wrong here. It's fantastic!!

Salmon was fresh (no smell or fishy flavor) and had a medium flavor (not bland, not strong). The texture was medium (firmness) and I liked the fattiness. I am not a huge salmon sushi fan, but I liked this better than what I usually get at the local sushi-ya. The price is good and I will probably order this again. I live in NC and got the free overnight shipping ($300 order). California to NC in 20 hours. Everything was still frozen (rock hard).

salmon& scallion, that Salmon.. my best description.. .it.. overtakes your senses, when you taste it.. you lose yourself for a moment.. you all eat sushi... you know what i meen.. that instant it touches your tongue, how it just ..melts,and you close your eyes, blocking everything else out...you breath it in ... and as you slowly fall back to earth... you realize... you've just experienced.. nirvana.. yep, that's how good it is :)

I made my first purchase from Catalina and am so happy with the outcome. Loved the canadian salmon its delicious with a beautiful color. Made it into rolls with avocado, green onion, cucumber and seasame seeds. Happy i bought 3 lbs the first time, one would have just been a tease.
