My 3lbs of Grouper is really good and so fresh; My Big issue is the Bones that are not removed; They are like big pin bones and I spent a lot of time removing them. The last thing I want is to swallow a bone.
Please make sure the bones are removed. If it was one or 2, I would say nothing but All my filets with the exception of 1 had several bones. I was asked to take a picture but I had already "butchered" my filets to remove the bones. I have grandchildren who love the fish but I am scared to serve them now because of the bones. After removing the bones, My order was less than the 3 lbs I had ordered. Maybe I butchered it wrong but in reality, I should not be having to do this.

This fish was so delicious and very, very fresh! We grilled it with a little asian marinade and it was perfect. I will definitely be ordering again!

The fresh grouper was excellent condition so I marinated this fish with kelp (Kobujime) and ate as sashimi. I also made grouper hot pot (Hata Nabe) and ate with ponzu. The best part of Nabe is leftover soup, which turned out to be a clean-tast rice soup. My point is that 2-lb of this fish became many delicious meals! Thank you so much.
