Description   Unagi is precooked and marinated barbequed farmed fresh water eel. It comes frozen in seven to nine ounce vacuum-packed portions. It is prepared by thawing, broiling, slicing into small strips pieces, and placing on sushi rice for a true delicacy. Our unagi is a product of Ocean Blue Products and originates from China. Unbelievable! April 18, 2008 Reviewer: Dmitriy Myedvyedyev from Boise, ID United States   This is a dream come true! Now I can get Unagi that's higher quality than that at the local sushi place. Catalina's unagi is high quality, very tender, practically melts in my mouth! I just throw these babies in the oven to warm them up (microwave would work fine too). Each portion (8oz or so) is about twice the serving size I get at a local sushi restaurant, so the cost is less than 1/4 of the restaurant price (ignoring rice, but that's cheap). Couldn't be any better, I think I will do business with Catalina for the rest of my life, just because of the unagi! Was this review helpful to you?

Unbelievable!
