This is the first time I have ordered from Catalina OP. Jeff has been helpful from the begining. My Kampachi fish was very fresh and clean. Some of the best Kampachi I have eaten.

A little difficult to filet but Tastes Great |

The Kampachi is really good. I got a great fresh fish delivered. I did not have a filet knife and I am sure that didn't help but it was a little difficult to filet. It was worth the effort as the fish was soft, tender and very flavorful.

An awesome alternative to Hamachi. |

As an avid sushi/sashimi fan, take my advice if you like hamachi... Give this kampachi a try, it's really good!
Besides, kampachi is just a young hamachi, so they taste nearly the same.
Also, if you're not into filleting a whole fish, you can put a note in your order asking them to fillet it for you. It's a real time-saver.
