This was the best stone crab yet! The claws were very large and fresh. The shipping and customer service is also first rate and the order was tracked by Catalina to be sure it reached us. I will be a loyal customer and plan on ordering more before they run out!

Stone Crab Claws |

Great product delivered at home! I ordered 4 lbs. and were delivered promptly overnight across country. Claws came in a well packed Styrofoam box and arrived frozen – even though there was no other icing material inside. A total of 14 claws came in the box for 4 lbs and they were pretty good sized. I thawed a couple of them in cold water for about 30mins and sampled them with a glass of white wine and a hastily prepared dipping sauce with mayonnaise and mustard. Given I had just come back from Fla. and had fresh out-of-the-water claws, these were surprisingly good. Best results probably by thawing in frdige overnight. There was a tiny amount of the freezer burn on some of the thinner parts of the claw. The meat was bright and flaky and the shell looked very colorful and solid (these are pre-cooked so just thaw and go). Final verdict is these are very good quality stone crab claws for the price - under $19 per lbs for very large claws including shipping.
