I have had lobster sashimi on my wants list for a while now. I finally decided to order the lobster and it arrived alive and kicking the next day. I think my dog wanted to keep it as a pet. The lobster sashimi was very good. It is a difficult flavor to describe. Similar to the spot prawn sweet shrimp but without the sweet finish. It taste very clean refreshing. The feeling you are supposed to get when you eat a peppermint patty, like you are standing on the top of a mountain or an ice cold spritz on a scrocher of a day.

Ok, if you love great fresh seafood and service here is the place. Call Tommy in the morning as it's "Miller time" after 3pm for him. I have bought product from these folks and would never go anywhere else. Local Lobster season has started and this is the place to go. Not over priced and very fresh/Live.

every year we would order lobsters from Catalina and give them away as thank you gifts to our clients and the meat is sweat an delicious. always will order from them and no one else even though we are here in the East Bay. also enjoy there large scallops
