I always chyeck to see if they have sweet shrimp and this was the first time that I saw them in stock. I just finished my meal which consisted of amaebi nigri (raw shrimp tails),Deep Fried shrimp heads, and Deep Fried whole sweet shrimp. Everything was fantastic. The amaebi nigri has a nice mellow sweet flavor and the shrimp were very tender. I have never ordered sweet shrimp in the sushi restaurant because I figured they were just shrimp; Boy was I wrong. The shrimp heads were delicious, very similar to soft shell crabs, although much tastier. The deep fried shrimp really did taste more like lobster then shrimp. I agree with all other reviews, when these are in stock, get them. A+++++++

I ordered 3 lbs of these spot prawns...they are the best! Cooked or sashimi...buttery flavor. Well worth the price!

Prawns were nicely packaged. I saw most were still moving their legs by the time I unwrapped them from their packaging. The prawns are also about 2-3x the size of amaebi shrimp you would get at a sushi restaurant.

I placed an order, got a call from Catalina saying it was out of stock. But, they were nice enough to get it for me the next day so I waited another extra day.
Very well worth it!!!
The size is great, no yucky shrimpy smell, very very very FRESH.
Gotta try it!

The shrimp were outstanding, however, I am used to the much smaller size, about three pcs to one piece of suhshi These were one to a sushi
