Prawns were nicely packaged. I saw most were still moving their legs by the time I unwrapped them from their packaging. The prawns are also about 2-3x the size of amaebi shrimp you would get at a sushi restaurant.

Too good... |

I placed an order, got a call from Catalina saying it was out of stock. But, they were nice enough to get it for me the next day so I waited another extra day.
Very well worth it!!!
The size is great, no yucky shrimpy smell, very very very FRESH.
Gotta try it!

The shrimp were outstanding, however, I am used to the much smaller size, about three pcs to one piece of suhshi These were one to a sushi

I order them everytime they are available. They're addicting and I love eating them fried, as I feel it brings out the flavors all the more. The large ones are female and are often filled with roe. Can't say enough about these!

Live shrimp arrived at my door still moving - Impressive looking - huge & gorgeous.
- Tastes like Lobster if cooked -
My husband who doesn't do raw fish ate the fried tail in shell - said they tasted just like lobster but better because the presentation was more impressive, with the curled up tail looking so exotic & nothing like we've seen before.
- Ever had shrimp rows? -
There were about 8 shrimps, half of them female (very big & with row) and the other half male (smaller). 1st time for me. Very smooth, crisp & not fishy taste at all.

Raw tail meat & fried heads were just wonderful, too. If I could I'd definitely give thsi 7 starts. :-)
