Beautiful and delicious. Let it sit in the fridge for a day or two to mellow out the flavor. I ate a whole fillet by myself in about 90 seconds. Neither of my fillets had bones.

This product is fantastic tasting, but I had to mash it up in order to remove the bones. I would expect sushi grade fish to be boneless.

Their is little substiute for fresh made saba, but this product was by far the best frozen saba I have ever had, and we have tried most of them over the years. Really the only obtion to have great quality saba at home. Jeff was great in processing my order even though it was a bit late for the day, and my sushi party was saved. Everything else was soem of the best I have ever bought from san fran japan town markets or orded online for. The salmon and hamachi, top grade. Toro..... well you know. And my second time ordering the gold uni, and this time it was the best uni I have eatin or seen in Japan or the bay area, it was almost orange red and every peiece was intact and firm. Essential company to finominal home made sushi.

The mackerel was very tasty and fresh, however mine had tons of tiny sharp bones in them. After removing them it kind of destroyed the look of the sushi. However the flavor was so good I will order it again and just watch out for the bones!
