These are outstanding! I am never disappointed. I had gone to an upscale sushi place a couple of years back and this Monkfish was on the special board. I love trying new things so gave it a shot. WOW! Loved it! The only problem was, I can never get it locally. No sushi or fish shop carried it. I found it her at Catalina's and I will never be without some on hand. It thaws out extremely quickly and make great snacks. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

I've never had ankimo before, but was intrigued after reading the reviews here. Only took about 6 hours to defrost perfectly in the refrigerator.
Sliced a couple of pieces and tried it plain which was great. This has a really smooth velvety consistency. The flavor is not fishy at all, it has a really nice flavor with a hint of the ocean.
I then sliced pieces and put it on cucumber slices with some ponzu sauce. I highly recommend this, it was a really nice dish. The ponzu sauce sets it off!

This is the best Ankimo we have had in MN. The only better you need to go to the coasts and get at high end sushi bars. Highly recommended.

This Ankimo is so rich and creamy! The perfect accompanyment to any sushi dinner, or alone with soy sauce and wasabi. This is my first time ordering from Catalina Offshore Products, and I am very impressed, also with the care of packaging to ensure freshness.

This Ankimo is fantastic as is everything from Catalina. One can never overstimate freshness. When you get Ankimo in a sushi restaurant there is a vrey good chance that it was defrosted several days ago and is not super fresh. When Freshly defrosted this Ankimo is excellent.
One of my favorite ways to get my Omega 3's
