Don't know what KS is talking about, just got this this month and it was FANTASTIC! Got 3 lbs and there was minimal bloodline to take off and the taste is AMAZING. This has the same sort of feel as Toro but isn't quite as tender. Still, better than yellowfin with great flavor and smooth texture, was a big hit!

Update: Jan 13 2012 - They won't let me write another review on my account but I've just gotten another pound of this and MAN is it good. Hardly any bloodline on the piece I got and just a solid piece of bluefin tuna. Tastes great, will definitely get more in the future.

I ordered 2 lbs bluefin tuna top loin. There was a lot of blood lines running all over the half of 2 lbs tuna.

I broke it into little pieces with spoon. (easy to take out bloodline and still can be used for tuna roll )

huge disappointed....I like their Ikura and Uni.

Received a fresh shipment yesterday afternoon and had some for dinner.  BEST testing tuna I've had in a long time.  It was so fresh it was glistening.  The texture was just right tenderness.  Taste was even better, even had a slight sweet after taste.
I usually don't eat much tuna sashimi, but I will continue to order this whenever it's available!

the tuna was great with a nice strip of fatty belly meat that was like butter. Everytime I order from COP I am impressed by the customer service, shipping updates, and unbelievable product that arrives in great shape.  Keep up the great work!
