I've been a loyal customer for years and finally made a stop by the retail store this past weekend.  Picked up a few trays of this uni and it is out of this world good.  I can't imagine a better value anywhere else!  I also loved seeing the facility and was so pleased by the great service.  Thanks!

I ordered 4 of the Premium and 1 of the Gold.  All 5 were amazing.  I have to say that the Premium is a better bang for you buck.  You can definitely taste a difference between the two, and yes the Gold was superior...but not for the price differential.  I was extremely happy with my purchase.

I ordered both gold and premium uni and I have to say that the premium was much fresher, better tasting and had better texture than the gold. Best of all it is cheaper!! Will definitely buy again.

I have to say people, i'm from Hawaii and we have the best! Sushi rest/bars.  I love uni, sweet sushi shrimp and sushi style scallops and this is equal to us! i am so satisfied with my order, the speedy delivery and the quality. I was very surprised!  I didnt think it would come close to Hawaii's Sushi quality seafood!  cant wait to try other items.

Really tasty but really mushy June 24, 2011

I ordered three packs of uni along with some other items but when they arrived they had liquefied and looked more like Vana. It was a long trip to Florida I suppose. Despite the mush, this was definitely the best tasting Uni I have ever had.

i have eaten a lot of uni in my time and this place has the BEST uni.  I was in the san diego area twice and asked if they would give me a tour of the uni factory and they did!  it was an AMAZING experience.  Such a clean place.  People are amazing and nice!   we tried their large scallops and they were the BEST scallops i ever ate!  the UNI was to die for!!!!

If you are tired of paying $10+ for 2 pieces while eating out, Order from COP. I have ordered Uni multiple times and have never been disapointed. Always fresh, always the highest quality. I highly recommend either the premium or the golden.

It was delicious and fresh, but it didn't really "survive" the packaging.  When I opened it, the uni was pretty much mushy and watery, literally dripping out of the bottom of the tray.  Roughly 10% was presentable product (what you see in the picture on this site).  I had a couple frozen items with my order, and I am guessing that the uni became semi-frozen during shipping, which compromised the texture.  I'll try it again next time.

UPDATE:  Just got an email from Eric at Catalina and they refunded my card for a tray of uni!  Wow, great service.  Will try the uni again next time and let you know how it turns out :)

well its all because i googled "edamame" tryin to find those frozen beans here in Roanoke, and i usually dont bite the first linky poo whenever doing searches but let me tell you something, freakin frozen soybeans are THE LAST THING ON MY MIND at this time...
Because i am a addict when it comes to the ways and means of sushi, and when i become aware that i can pay a really low fee fore a box of fresh tasty sea urchin and not leave this house, well its plain and simple -
IF YOU DONT ORDER ANY when in stock, MORE FORE ME!!!
