I am not usually one to write reviews, so that fact that I am taking the time to do so says a lot. This is the BEST salmon sushi/sashimi I have ever eaten. The quality, texture, and flavor cannot be surpassed! If you have not tried this, I highly recommend you add it to your order!

This is really great fish. I kept eating it while making sushi...no time to wait! Really fresh and clean fish. Everyone raved about it...fresher than a restaurant.

Wow!  That is how I would describe the fresh NZ salmon in one word.  But one word can't begin to do justice to this fish.  This is the first salmon, maybe the first of any sashimi fish I've tried, that absolutely did not need anything to help with flavor -- not soy, not wasabi, not anything.  By itself, the fish had a wonderfully balanced taste, but what I found most amazing was the pure clean finish.  There was no hint of fishiness at all.  And while it didn't need the soy or wasabi, adding just a little of these ingredients really made it pop.  Beautiful, beautiful flavor and buttery tender to boot, even along the dorsal side!  I've always been happy with your regular farmed salmon, but I've now found a worthy successor.  As long as you keep stocking it, you've got a customer for life!
