well i wont write anymore reviews after this one because I WANT MY CUT when i am in need, and its a daily need.
When the uni was delayed on these guys end i got a prompt phone call and email asking if i would like to wait the xtra day or proceed the order without... i may cry if i think of the scenario of me not waiting.
That was freakin kool on its on fore this business to do!

But i just got my Fix, and fore the price and the $25 Fed X shipping fee...
Well it may be near 100 degrees in this part of Virginia, but the Uni had no idea of any of that,
and if more new about these guys service, freshness and more, ...well, off to rehab fore me.

I thought I could recognize good UNI. The benchmark has been raised. That must be what makes this item so difficult to get.  Delicate, wonderful,  my favorite.

After reading some reviews I decided to try Catalina Offshore products.  I had extremely high expectations which usually, in my experience, has led to disappointment.  I just had my uni dinner tonight and I must say my expectations were easily surpassed.  This is the best uni I have had.  Extremely fresh taste with absolutely no bitter after taste that usually accompanies uni when it has lost its freshness.  It was so good I didn't want to swallow.  The second the uni hit my tongue I was already thinking about my next order.  Highly recommended.

This is the best Uni we have had in MN.  The only better you need to go to the coasts and get at high end sushi bars.  Highly recommended.

I ordered 2 trays of the uni last week and ate them both in two days. It was amazing. Since then I have ordered uni in the sushi bars in my town and it doesnt come close to being as good. It is fresh and yummy. The price for what you get is unbelievable. At the sushi bars here in my town you get 2 peices of uni for $10. I cant wait until catalina has it back in stock because I am getting more!! Addicted!

it was a tasty bit of uni. i dont think i will purchase it again, as it is somewhat pricey. the uni comes in a 4x2" tray. you can defrost the uni in the fridge and it will taste great. ate mine donburi style with ikura and daikon.

Easy ordering and fantastic product. As delicious as any excellent sushi restaurant, and worth the price. Made spaghetti with sea urchins last night- brought back Italy without the plane ticket. Highly recommended- would order again.

My Uni came frozen solid packed at the bottom of a styrofoam box charged with dry ice.  I should have ordered the lesser grade because after letting it thaw in the reefer for two hours it was runny.  The flavor was as good as expected but there is no need to order the top grade if it turns out to be the less expensive less desireable grade.  I won't order again.

I received my order today, and I have to say that this is by far the BEST Uni I have ever tasted. Sweet, fresh, and that wonderful ocean breeze flavor. I now have to question the freshness of some of the Uni that I get at many of the "better" sushi bars I visit. It can be very funky tasting, but as far as I'm concerned, they have no excuse as long as you offer such a superior product.  I also ordered the California premium, and it is also above and beyond anything I have eaten at my favorite restaurants. I will definitely be a return customer!!!
